After much searching on the internet for a good attorney, we kept coming back to to Ryan Tuterra. I called him and left a message after hours and he called me back that same evening. He listened and gave some information and I booked an appointment with him. The moment I sat down to talk with him I knew he was passionate about his career in law and he knows the law and is good at what he does. From the beginning he was confident that what I was being charged with should have been nothing more then a civil case. He fought the first round at the magistrate level however it failed and had to go to common court. Even after the magistrate he was still adamant that this was nothing more then a civil case and he stands on the truth and evidence that proves just that. Living in a small town and never having to have an attorney one thing I did know was the lawyers in this and surroundings areas work together and with law instead of working for their client .I needed someone that knew the law, determined to prove false allegations and to regain my dignity back, that he did! Ryan took over my case from another lawyer that had really messed it up very badly. He was able to defend me in a criminal case in a much smaller town than Pittsburgh and overcome all the issues that the previous lawyer caused and the bias of the court system in my area. He did just that and when I took the stand I was well prepared and even over prepared in my case for the cross examination. Son was accused lead guilty of sexual crimes, after getting rid of public defender who wanted him to plead guilty although he was innocent. Mr. Tutera listened to him took his case and after a two day trial he fought and helped prove his innocence with a NOT GUILTY verdict. I think he is a great lawyer. Also a nice guy.
